They’re determined to have Iraq turn into Cambodia.

There appears to be a potentially positive outcome to Harry Reid opening his mouth. The Appeal for Courage website has been adding between 10-30 signatures a day for the last couple weeks. I was checking today and they’ve added almost two hundred in the last 24 hours. I hope that SOB Reid sufficiently pissed off our troops so the ball gets rolling so fast that even the f-—in’ MSM can’t ignore it anymore,

Democrats plan is to have Special Forces attack Ql Qeda in Iraq from bases in Kuwait and Jordan. Reid was on c-span today trying to explain it.

Un-frikin-beliveable! The clueless are now leading this nation. I guess this is the "conservatives" teaching us a lesson? I find no logic in this whole "teach" the Republicans a lesson. This ain't no frikin' game...

Where is the President. Where is a Prime Time speech ? Why is he staying so quiet.

Are we missing something?

This happens a lot. The press tries to help the Donks by rigging the poll questions to produce some desired result. The Donks then believe the rigged poll.

In this case, the press wants to promote the idea that the public is against the war, because the press is full of liberal antiwar Democrats who are themselves against the war. What the poll really says is that the public isn't too happy about the way the war is going. But Democrats — the ones in the press and the ones in elected office — believe this means the public wants to cut and run. No one outside the 'nutroots' has ever said such a thing, but that's what the Donks want to hear, so it becomes what they do hear.

I don't think we're missing anything. The Donks are re-confirming what everybody feared about them, which they had denied, which is that they are soft on defense and can't be trusted to defend the United States. They actually think Americans want to embrace self-inflicted defeat. McGovern thought that, too. He won Massachusetts and the District of Columbia... and nothing else.

My take is that the Donks are being used. The public is using them to scare the Iraqis into getting off the dime about learning to defend their own country. To scare them properly, there has to be a credible threat that we will pull out. But the public doesn't really want to pull out. What they really want is for the Iraqis to get their act together. Once they do, the Donks will have (a) served their purpose, and (b) disqualified themselves from the Presidency for another twenty years.

One day we may remember him as similar to the 16th President who also fought a very unpopular war but was determined to win it so the nation will remain.

The new tone he came to Washington with is killing him and our nation, wish he would get a backbone and louder voice.

“I still can’t figure out why the Dems have come to the conclusion this is a winning issue.
Are we missing something?”

It’s all theater: the Dems are just placating the Barking Moonbats (BM for short); they know this has zero chance of success.

I say, let ‘em keep trying; better they waste time on nonsense like this than finding something the President can agree on - THAT would hurt us all.

I wonder if Bush and Maliki shouldn’t embargo the press somehow, so they can get things settled down.

Let the cowardly p'tak go ahead. As Worf says in "Heart Of Glory", true warriors are bound by three things: duty, honor and loyalty. Of which the Democrat vermin know nothing.

They’ll just pretend the problem no longer exists. Until we are hit again - here, at home - and then they’ll blame Bush for gutting our readiness.

I think the DOJ should investigate Sen. Reid for corruption.

He’s a sleazeball.

I think the DOJ should also investigate AG AG for not enforcing the immigration and border integrity laws.
