I don’t wish to get in a big heated argument with you since I’ve seen you on many threads and you seem like one of the reasonable freepers. I heard Savage make the “gun control” statement as well, early first hour last week, and it shocked me too. But I continued to listen and it became clear what he meant was for better monitoring of mentally ill people clearly unsuitable for firearms ownership. That said, during the remainder of the same show, he called the media “a bunch of gun grabbers”, mentioned how “gun control” is one of the first things done by fledgling totalitarian states, and was extremely critical of the policy banning guns from the Virginia Tech campus. You have to take his entire sentiment into account before comparing him to Heinrich Himmler.
