One of the price tags to get non liberal powerful guests to attend is the unwritten rule that “nothing you say will be held against you.” Also that it’s not an opportunity for a “free shot”, like David and Crow did. I’m sure they knew the rule but ignored it.
This could endanger the Dinner’s ability to get good guests. I wouldn’t blame Rove at all if he missed the next one.
I think Crow is an idiot, but am I the only one in here that still thinks she looks pretty good? Not sure I’d want to shake hands with her, but she still looks sexy to me (then again, I am almost 50...)
Yep. I know. It was an oblique reference. David occasionally appeared on the show, and was the primary inspiration for the show’s George Costanza character. As much as the “Jerry” character reflected the real Jerry Seinfeld, the “George” character reflected David.
Thanks. It’s sometimes hard to tell if someone’s being sarcastic or not. I guess the italics should’ve given it away.
Turns out you know more about the show than I do. :)
Her looks do not portray what lies within. At 52, I know what you mean!

Whew! You had me worried for a minute.
I was refering to what would short circuit the logic in the average male.
I'm quite familiar with that -- my son just turned 16 and is learning to drive. Thank Heavens we had a cold Spring. I don't even want to think what his attention span will be like during bikini season ("Honest, Mom! I never took my eyes off the road." "Son, you're parked on the green on the 15th hole, 20 feet from the pool. Rethink your story.")

It is interesting to see the eyewitness version.
Also, it is interesting to note the near violent rage these two have whipped themselves into.
