Hey, don’t disabuse them. If they think Rudy’s their biggest threat, they won’t see Fred coming till it’s too late. :)

Notice how democrats only see political advantage in problems in Iraq. They never have positive suggestions or plans. Their concern is only about winning elections. Not solving problems.

I don't care about McCain but the Democrats seem to think defeat is the ticket to a White House win. Not so fast. Let's see how the rest of the year plays out.

"And if any Republican wants to win the general, he has to break with Bush on the war."

Rudy's left the door open for that.

By whom? The media? They've been setting him up as their favorite son so in 2008 they could pull the rug out from under him for their preferred Dem. I think McCain blew his chance at getting the nomination years ago. McCain-Feingold, anyone?

...he puts so many states that we “own” in play: NY, PA, NJ...Therein lies the truth - whomever can win those states will take the presidency!

President Bush is not that popular but he's still more popular than the Democrats. The Democratic Congress has record low ratings - even lower than that of the preceding GOP Congress it replaced and they haven't made any progress on their key signature items. I don't see any evidence of the New Direction they promised America last year.

The only thing more disgusting than Democratic politicians using dead bodies as chits in their election planning is a magazine reporter telling us about it without referring to said Democrats as "ghouls."

I understand that you have liberal leanings, so it’s not surprising that you and the dems are pushing Rudy.

For them to say they are “afraid” of him, is one of those “don’t throw me in the brier patch” moments.

For you, I suspect that you are just a lib... Why don’t you go back to D.U. where you belong?

Their No. 1 worry: Rudy Giuliani

No the real worry is that Rudy will come clean and run for President as a democrat. That is their fear.

Hmm. Assuming anybody conservative wants to listen and believe a democrat strategist, let's look at what they say:

"And if any Republican wants to win the general, he has to break with Bush on the war."
Their No. 1 worry: Rudy Giuliani, who's surging in fundraising and in the polls

So, is Rudy going to break with Bush on the war? Apparently the democrat strategists expect it.

If he's not, then you must admit they don't know what they are talking about, in which case who cares about their opinion?

"He puts so many states that we own in play--New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania.""

A scary insight into the liberal mind.
