Explosion reported in Fort Worth location unknown. Flames 1000 feet high according to WBAP.
Looks like a natural gas pipeline leak.
Anyone remember the Dime Box, TX fire? That was a pipeline compressor station.
During the Phillips Pasedena (TX) explosion of ‘89, one police officer thought the balloon went up and the Ship Channel got hit with a nuke.
There's a really good antique/collectible gun store right around there (can't recall the name of the shop but the people who run it are decent folks). Hope they're ok...
Looks a little like the scene from Blade Runner where they’re in the spinner approaching the Tyrell HQ.
This is the third time I have seen this happen this year. The second event was the one that caught fire.
The events always seem to start just after 0700 and I can hear it .5 miles away as I approach the plant.
