TEHRAN (Press TV) -- U.S. political critic Scott Ritter believes that introducing Iran as a threat to the world is an ideology developed by the Bush administration.
"Washington leaders have not yet provided any solid proof for their baseless accusations against Iran," the Austrian daily "Der Standard" quoted him as saying in an article published on Saturday.
Referring to the White House claims on the violation of human rights in Iran, Ritter stated that the Iranian nation enjoys plenty of freedom compared to other countries in the Middle East. "The U.S. is already facing many problems regarding its own human rights in the country."
He noted that although Iranians were happy about the overthrow of Saddam Hussein and the Taleban in Iraq and Afghanistan by U.S. forces, they will never let the country interfere in their own internal affairs and will respond to any military or other attacks.
Iranians want amicable relations and cooperation with the West, he added.
I would say there ARE Iranian people that DO want amicable relations with the West, but not the great whacked one Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Scott Ritter? Wasn’t he the former weapons inspector who got caught playing house with an underage girl? Or was he the Inspector Closeau who worked with Hans Blix?
Thanks for your input. Could you now just shut your mouth you creepy kid toucher?

Too bad we can’t revoke citizenship for some people.
Sure. Iran isn’t a threat at all, even though they want to blow Israel off the map, send weird letters beseeching President Bush to convert to Islam, thumb their noses at UN resolutions to halt nuclear activities, take British sailors hostage, etc.
Yup, no threat. Move along (or is that move on?) people!
Not this buffoon!
Except for the WMD and precursors shipped by air to Syria and the sarin filled gas shells and the 2 tons of yellow cake uranium and the long range missiles that were banned by the UN that Saddam had.
Yes he was right, except for the items above. Migraine, I keep seeing your name pop up again and again. You seem to be about as welcome as hemorrhoids posting on FR. Sure you don’t want to hang out over at DU?

Ohdearlordhelpus...Scott Ritter is back!
this=that
I wondered where this goof ball of the left has been. I remember him and Sy Hearch saying Hitler Bush was going to invade Iran in JUNE of 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL.
A 23 year old man (Cho) who never talked to anybody should have been recognized as a threat to civilization and institutionalized, but the man who defied international law by taking over our embassy, insists on developing nuclear weapons, and advocates the destruction of Israel and the United States is really not a threat at all. I guess I am too dimwitted to understand the semantics of the left’s greatest minds!
