My 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica has quiet an extensive article on “Palistine” when it was still part of the Turkish Empire.

Interesting isn’t it...they tried desparately to to rewrite history. Someone earlier mentioned that the Romans defined Palestine 1n 135 and that it encompassed all of Israel. In fact, it did not. I believe that it was coined Palestina for Samaria only—which would be primarily the region around Ramallah of today. In any regard, Israel’s borders were not defined by the Romans, or EU or anyone else, but by G-d—The British tried to redefine Palestina, Jordan,
Syria and Iraq in 1917—the Palestinians have no claim to the land!
