let’s do let the WH make him the scapegoat

Yup, caught that. Nothing wrong was done here so there is nothing to make him the scapegoat for. The problem is Gonzo's incompetence which is so monumental I can hardly believe it.

He had to know that he had put himself in the position of having to have explanations for each of these firings and HE DIDN'T HAVE THEM. Unbelievable.

Gonzalez level of incompetence is truly startling. I can’t see how much longer he can hold out- we need an effective DoJ with strong leadership.

Yes...he not only knew what they were going to ask him...but he knew his performance was being watched by a lot of people...that would take out his poor performance on Pres. Bush.

It is too bad that he has less respect for Pres. Bush, than Bush has shown him, because if he had, he would have been prepared and slam-dunked their accusations.
