“Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis spends his days and nights in a cold, concrete cell, isolated from almost all human contact.
Francis was cut off from the medication that has kept him sane, his attorney said, and a light burning 24 hours a day has kept him awake.
“He can’t sleep. He hasn’t eaten properly. He’s prone to anxiety attacks,” his lawyer, Aaron Dyer, said Wednesday night. “I know if it was me, I’d be cold and frustrated. Joe has been breaking down, and Joe Francis does not break down.”
Dyer said Francis had been trying to keep warm in his cell with a towel and blanket.
“He was just so happy to get that full blanket,” Dyer said.............[snip]
............[snip] On April 12, officers said they found prescription drugs and cash in Francis’ cell. Since then, he’s been kept in solitary confinement at the jail annex. For several days, his companion in that ward, but not in the same cell, was convicted murderer Robert Bailey, who has been sentenced to die for killing a Beach police officer, Dyer said.
“Bailey would sit there and yell, ‘Girls Gone Wild! Joe Francis! Whoo!’ over and over again,” Dyer said. “It was driving Joe crazy.” ............"

I’m just so torn... I pray for everybody in jail, because it’s just so miserable a place to be. A lot of God’s work takes place in jails and prisons...
but it does seem that perhaps Mr. Francis’ most oppressive prison is the one in his mind. Perhaps the answer is not to be set free from jail, but to be set free from the guilt which so rightly haunts him.
It certainly can’t help that in the midst of all this guilt the man is plagued by a crazed lunatic warbling “Girls Gone Wild! Joe Francis!! WHOOO!!” over and over again -

(I'm no prude, and I'd be a hypocryte if I claimed to never see nor enjoy a blue movie or website, but building an empire based on taking advantage of drunk girls is too damn much.)

What makes him a pig? I would think it's the fact that he made tons of money off of drunk t!tties. And yeah, some of those t!tties aren't drunk, they're just stupid - but that doesn't mean you pay for the fuel in your personal jet by selling DVDs of that stupidity....
I assume you're pretty young by your FR screen name. When you get older, you see how temporary stupidity can often cause permanent consequences way down the line. Dads know that kids can be stupid, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't get furious when someone exploits that mistake and perpetuates it into worldwide eternity by hawking videos of it.
To make the book really sell there needs to be a prison Gang Rape story. He could make a video and call it, "Boyeez In the Hood Gone Wild!!"

What he did deserves prison time. Regardless whether these young women were intoxicated, what he did was sick (and it’s been rather well-documented that minors appear in his, er, films and even on the covers)...
Let him rot in that cell. I have no sympathy for him...
Several of those videotaped GGW girls have since been driven to suicide.

- Not to be heartless but it makes me laugh to think of how these dads learn of their daughters’ stupidity.
