“If you’re going to attempt to frame my logic, put it in the context I phrased it in.”

“A big part of what makes a man a leader is where he’s going. If he can get folks to follow him in the wrong direction, he’s not a great leader.”

____________

No problem.

— A big part of what makes a man a leader is where he’s going.

(FALSE) Completely backwards logic. It’s who and how many people are “following” him/her...not where he/she is going.

— If he can get folks to follow him in the wrong direction, he’s not a great leader.

(FALSE) The best leaders have the ability to take large numbers of people the wrong direction. Again it’s the “followiing” part that’s important. The direction is irrelevant to his/her leadership skills.

let me rephrase...

(False) The best leaders have the ability to take large numbers of people the wrong direction. Again it’s the “following” part that’s important. If the followers have no feelings about the direction, the the direction is irrelevant to his/her leadership skills.
