I appreciated him after 9/11. I admired how he shoved the grapefruit in the face of that Saudi Prince. I thought for a few weeks that he might be more moderate on the 2A position for the rest of us in the frontier than he was in the five Boroughs. I was extremely surprised that he could still stand for PBA even after he didn't need to. It is easy to see now that he is more liberal than a "Rockefeller Republican" or even a "Roosevelt Republican."
But what I'm truly shocked to learn on this thread is that "Rudy-mania" appears to be a mental disorder.

But what I'm truly shocked to learn on this thread is that "Rudy-mania" appears to be a mental disorder. They think that Rudy will pick judges in the mold of Scalia, Thomas, Roberts...etc.
At this stage, even months before the first primary, to back a candidate who thinks that there is a "right to an abortion" is simply the wrong strategy.
I wouldn't call it a mental disorder...and I certainly wouldn't be so desperately afraid of Rudy in the face of a few DBM push polls as some here seem to be.
Fred will easily win the nomination.
