What a marvelously well-read ghoul you are. We’re all very impressed.

As if I sought to impress. What for, and whom? Impressing could be useful when one is looking for a date in certain situations, or on job interviews. Neither applies. Being well-read is a pleasure in itself, and is a necessary part of becoming and being an educated person. Strongly recommended.
For example, reverting to that same Aristotle, I managed to surprise a medical student by telling him that Aristotle considered sexual excess as beneficial against the diseases caused by phlegm [Problemata, 1. 50]. It happened when that student came in with a running nose. Well, they did not teach this one to him - and a few days later he came and told me “it worked!”. I envision him later - as a licensed physician - solemnly dispensing the same advice to his future patients. Thus the torch is being transmitted.
