I don’t though. Could it be true though? I can hope. If enough of us sit on it’s chest , do you think maybe we can make it cry uncle?
Where in these posts are you demonstrating your conservative anti-Giuliani mission? You have been here two years--Plenty long enough to know you should address your infantile insults to the intended recipient.
Me too ... then you don’t have to remember the tangled web you have woven.
I certainly wouldn’t bet on it either but there must be some small amount of decency or a fondness for this site. Certainly she’s lived her life here the past few years and others that had done the same chose to be nasty. They will never be able to return and they will regret it.
Honestly, I figure, she’s thinking the other site won’t last and she doesn’t want to burn her bridges.
FR will be here in years to come.
Pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution conservatives are a majority in the GOP. Live with it.
Yessim, it will be ... stronger and more conservative than ever.
Well, the point was is that there are some people here who seem to have quit a big FR carbon footprint but don’t appear to have bought any carbon offsets.
I don’t have a problem with people asking others if they are putting their money where their keyboard is. There are far too many freeloaders on FR, always have been.
Give me a break and try reading the posts. There was no such thing said, ever.
Riddle me this: If conservatives aren’t a massive majority in the Republican Party, why are all these liberal candidates spinning so hard trying to convince Republicans that they’re conservatives??
I certainly respect your loyalty to your friend and have nothing disrespectful to say to you about that. But I am not fond of people who say things like, “for too long conservatives have had their foot on the throat of the GOP” I take that as a personal insult. If that’s the kind of “truth” that you agree with, and respect, then I’m just speechless. Do you agree with that comment Hildy made?
Well Said!
You Got That Right!

Please pass on your hurricane data before you opus. Your stuff is priceless at times.
Glad to hear that.
Well, maybe peaceful isn’t exactly the right word.
But it definitely used to be more like adult debate, and less like the same level of discourse that one sees at DU...

Let’s see, I’m a single mom, so I am 100% pro-life and I walk the talk. I also believed in Terri Schiavos right to live. I’m not on any state assistance even though that would have been the easier route to take, while I’m building my own business - which makes me responsible for my actions, and shows that I believe in free market and entrepreneurial attitude of living in this country - wow that’s a twofer right there and by the way I don’t rely on others donating to keep my lights on, or any portion of my business running. No child support either - which if you look at threads on child support are overwhelmingly men bellyaching about the system, or 2nd wives upset at how much they don’t get because of the children.
I reject a cult member for my presidential choice - but I do it based on my own religious beliefs - hmmm, that must make me God fearing.
I am 100% not in favor of any specialized legislation for homosexuals - I do however feel there are many decent if not deceived gay people who need help and hope and a way out. So there’s a little bit of the compassionate conservative in me.
The person who introduced me to this site was my dad. A Korean vet and proud patriot until he died two years ago.
I love a good long island ice tea - and a not always church friendly word or two. I live in Orange County, so I can’t claim redneck as easily as you can, but I can claim conservative and I proudly observe my 2nd amendment right.
I reject McCain before I reject Rudy - I reject Rudy in favor of Duncan Hunter, but I believe that our best hope is in Fred. So take the attitude of “you’re a liberal if you don’t agree with me” and put that energy into rebuilding a conservative forum that may have some influence if you can rebuild it in time.
Dont get suckered into the new names who think they have you on their side now make it a conservative site where disagreeable people can agreeably find common ground as well grassroots folks being able to agree to disagree with each other about the fine points or candidates.
