Like hell we do!
“A small tribute to Seung-Hui Cho, who shot his victims then himself on Monday, has been added ...”
They have GOT to be kidding!
The feminization of America goes on!
Three notes expressing sorry and sympathy for the gunman. How many people have expressed outrage but weren't reported? I'm with you on this, wagglebee!
“Graduate student Chris Chabalko, 29, said adding a stone memorial for Cho was fair.”
Good lord.
Cho was actually first diagnosed as an autistic, when he first came to the USA, and his parents could not afford help for him. Cho has the symptoms of autism. Autistics do not like to look animals or people in the eyes, nor do they wish to be touched, and they may not speal at all in the early stages of their life. The often do show uncontrolable behavior, and have inablility to sustain a conversation. I can not help but feel great sorrow for his parents.
"Political Correctness will kill all you fools"
I thought that Federal law trumps state law...??? There is no way that this guy should have been able to pass a NICS check !
As to the main focus of this posting, the memorial to Cho; I don't think he should have a memorial alongside the people that he murdered but I would say that forgiveness is a huge part of the Christian faith. Hard as it may be we should find it in our hearts to forgive. If forgiveness were easy then there would be no point in it... It's hard to do in cases such as this but we are better people for that ability to forgive.
Jesus gave us a gift, we should use it.
Right now, Seung-Hui Cho is experiencing new kinds of pain and agony. Take joy in the Lord’s justice - Seung-Hui Cho is truly wishing he was one of the ACTUAL victims now.
Instead, he faces a sentence ETERNAL, from which he will receive no pardon or pity. Even the minor twinges of shame and guilt some feel from such a thought of eternal punishment will have no bearing on God’s justice.
Oh I do have pity for you, Seung-Hui Cho.
I pity you, Seung-Hui Cho, not because you are a victim, but because I know that the LORD is just.
One of the pathologies I have observed during my years in academia is the stubborn unwillingness to make distinctions of right and wrong. This Chabalko will undoubtedly fit in well at one of our major universities.
I think it was more shame and ignorance rather than lack of money that kept his parents from getting help. I can’t believe he graduated high school and almost college without speaking or looking at anyone.

Would you say that about Jesus also? Forgiveness is a Christian principle - they were just following a tried and true religious practice.
Probably “feels” the same about Mohamed Atta.

Graduate student Chris Chabalko, 29, said adding a stone memorial for Cho was fair.
“He was a student. Thirty-three people died,” said Chabalko. “There’s nothing anyone can do about it now. We’ve got to remember them equally.”
This one is going to have to get mugged personally. Even then, I hold no illusions that it would change him. At twenty-nine, he’s well on his way to being a professional student and I’m sure later faculty and doesn’t set foot in the real world, even when confronted by a mass murder.
All of the tributes said: “Rot in Hell you SOB”!!
Wrath gets a lot more play around here than Charity.
