A survivor of the Virginia Tech massacre has been describing how a colleague died to protect others. Although badly injured, graduate student Waleed Shalaan distracted gunman Cho Seung-Hui to save another person from his bullets.
Waleed saved another student's life.The surviving student, who wishes to remain anonymous, told of Waleed's heroics through an email to his supervisor.
He describes how he was left uninjured after Cho's initial round of shots.
Meanwhile, Waleed had been wounded but was still alive.
However, when Cho later returned to the classroom to inspect for signs of life among his victims, the surviving student struggled to remain calm.
He believes he would have been shot dead were it not for Waleed's "protective movement" that distracted the gunman.
Cho turned and shot Waleed for a second time, killing him, before leaving the classroom.
Randy Dymond, a civil engineering professor, has said the student asked to him to tell the tale "so that the family of Waleed understands the sacrifice."
Shaalan's mother broke down when she heard Mr Dymond's account.
"He was trying to save someone else," she said repeatedly.
Dymond said Shaalan's body was taken to a Blacksburg mosque so classmates, teachers and friends could say goodbye before he was sent to Egypt for burial.'

I think it’s Krause, because he is the only one
who hasn’t made a statement. Hixon is very chatty.
Krause seems to be shy.

Uh... “A” didn’t shoot Waleed - our conversation and the “right there” was regarding the SHOOTER being right there next to them, Star Traveler trying to say that the SHOOTER could not have been distracted by Waleed’s movements as he ( the SHOOTER ) was right next to the both of them at the time. I made the point that there was no evidence that the SHOOTER was next to them.
Our discussion had nothing to do with the closeness of “A” and Waleed - sorry if you got confused.

He is the likely candidate for Anonymous Uninjured. Any of the
four would also be eyewitnesses.

The article said that most of the students in
Norris 206 were internationals. Krause could
have been German. Hixon appears to be an
American.
Here’s some informaton in an article —
“Two of the students who survived the shootings in Mr. Loganathan’s classroom were also taking Mr. Cox’s course on water law this semester. Mr. Cox spoke to one of them, Nathaniel Krause, after the massacre. Mr. Cox said the student had told him that the gunman had fired at students’ heads, and had left the room twice and returned. Mr. Krause escaped being shot only because he fell to the floor and pretended to be injured.”

Note this line — “Mr. Krause escaped being shot only because he fell to the floor and pretended to be injured.”
Use that for future reference. If this does turn out to be the guy (maybe not, and maybe the “anonymous student” is simply a literary invention) — then this indicates a “change in story”.

Yep, it looks that way. Just ask where they were sitting and if they know Waleed. That should do it.

Two candidates qualify for the anonymous uninjured Virgina Tech student in this article - Nathaniel Krause or Lee Hixon.
Are you plugged in enough to hunt this down? I’d love to see this either validated or exposed as a hoax.
