Okay.

I think this line says it all.

He has filed two suits against the federal government, one demanding that the city be allowed to keep its executive order giving illegal immigrants access to schools, police services and hospitals, and a second arguing that denying benefits to legal immigrants who pay taxes violates constitutional guarantees of equal protection.

Hmm. A round-up of mayors gathered to protest the welfare reform laws passed in 1996...

Why do I get uneasy flashbacks to the Mayors Against Gun Control?

Even Giuliani critics give the mayor credit for standing up for immigrants in the face of cutbacks orchestrated by conservative Republicans in Congress

Yep. Rudy doing what he does best - working against conservative Republicans.

But he shore does want our votes now.

As time goes on, it looks more and more like he will be “our” candidate....I am feeling sick....but you know what? We MUST vote for him to keep a power-mad Marxist out of the Oval Office ESPECIALLY with a socialist dominated congress -— God help us.

Yet another reason Giuliani is unfit for command.

So to keep a power-mad Marxist out of the Oval Office, we would have to vote for a power-mad authoritarian who shares the Marxist's views on abortion, gun control, gay rights and many other areas?

You got the "God help us" part right.

It really sucks, doesn’t it?? I am quite worried about 2008 — and I still do not understand what the GOP is really up to here —

January 9, 1997:
Rudy Giuliani forms Immigration Coalition with La Raza, George Soros
and other lefist "Immigrant Rights" groups to oppose "repeal of provisions
of the recently enacted welfare and immigration laws that
discriminate against immigrants"

We now have a number of freepers in lockstep with George Soros on immigration. How nice.

They have nothing but straws to grasp onto. I hope FR is instrumental in sinking his candidacy. Some point in the near future, I’m going to collect all the articles posted here, titles and links, start a thread and email it to every conservative blogger, talk show host, and right of center publication.

I should do that in about a month. By then the list of articles will be so overwhelming, it cannot be ignored.

I’ll list the titles, a key quote or two and the link. I’ll also send it to every other GOP candidate.

That’s just what the MSM & Co. want us to think, Eagle. As things stand right now, if push comes to shove, I would vote for ANY Republican candidate OTHER than Giuliani. It is a long time until the primaries. And there are changes on the way. Do not lose heart.

We now have a liberal New Yorker, masquerading as a Republican, in lockstep with George Soros
on immigration, abortion (and more, I would guess). How sad. ;-)

If you love illegal immigration and open borders, vote for Rudy.

He makes Ted Kennedy look like a law abiding conservative.

I suspect that a hundred such articles could be posted and it wouldn’t make a lick of difference to the hardcore RINO Rudy supporters on here.

Yes, we are keeping the faith — Washington really worries me, as it does others, because what is happening (or not happening) there is VERY disturbing. It clearly is not a government working “for and by the people” -—
