Well, that’s sad. Hope he didn’t leave more dead bodies at the house.

Sad, I guess that the gunman accomplished what he came to do.

HPD spkspersn coming now ... update: while trying to establish communication, they heard one shot ... they went in and found suspect dead ... then they found another person, a male hostage, dead from the earliest minutes ... another hostage, female, who had been duct-taped ...
Presser on....suspect shot himself in the head. Hostage dead and another one tied up?? Duck Taped....male hostage deceased. Female ok....

While police tried to establish communications, heard a shot. Entered. Perp dead.
1 hostage dead.
1 hostage (female) releashed, being checked for injuried, had been taped.
Relationships unknown.

More HPD ... no, they never established communication ... unknown if note found ... he does not have names or IDs at this time ... duct tape had been on feet and arms of hostage ... families may or may not have been notified, he can’t tell at this time ... he has not spoken to the female himself, she is being treated by paramedics now ... weapon used was revolver, snub-nose, maybe .38 or .357

HPD more ... did first witness see suspect shoot the hostage? he doesn’t think so ... the two dead are still inside until ME’s come ... hostage appeared to have been shot in chest cavity area ... suspect, one gunshot wound to the head
