Why is Jefferson’s investigation stalled and Renzi’s on the front burner?

The Democrats claimed that Alberto Gonzales fired US Attorney Paul Charlton in order to quash the investigation of Renzi. In order to show he wasn't trying to do that (and keep his job), it would seem that Gonzales put the Renzi investigation on the fast burner.

I really do not think it is stalled but it is just taking forever - the position taken by Hastert and the other arrogant political whores in and out of Congress has not done anything good for the prusuit of justice.

For the same reason the FBI kicked down Curt Weldon's door a couple of weeks before the election - - the Bush Justice Department is corrupt to the core and being largely directed by the Clinton dirt machine.
