The Democrats claimed that Alberto Gonzales fired US Attorney Paul Charlton in order to quash the investigation of Renzi. In order to show he wasn't trying to do that (and keep his job), it would seem that Gonzales put the Renzi investigation on the fast burner.
I must say that when I heard about him and Doolittle, I thought exactly the same thing.
QUESTION: Is this the guy who had a primary challenge from one of the people in the patriot group who has been patrolling the border that the Republican party spent a gazillion $ to make sure he won his primary?
