It’s funny watching Rudy supporters use “John Glenn” as if that proves Thompson is unfit, when there are many specific cases where Rudy backed down.
For example, we know that Rudy appointed hardly any conservative or even republican judges. Rudy supporters tell us that is because he had to give in to the democrats on the “judge board” who picked the candidates he could choose. He of course was personally responsible for almost half the people sitting on that board, but we are told Rudy had to put democrats there to get along.
And Rudy had to march in the Gay Pride parade, and he had to speak at the NARAL event. And because he was in New York City, he had to support abortion, and gun control.
Rudy apparently spent most of his time as Mayor knuckling under on social issues to the liberals.
If Rudy wins, which gown will he wear to the Inaugural Ball?
