One wonders if Harry had said this during WWII about our military effort in say the Pacific (Iwo?) if he would have been tried, sentenced, and executed for sedition?

This is no surprise. They are probably no more that ten prople in the United States that did not know that this would happen if the Democrats gained control of Congress.

Never-the-less American voters for one reason or another voted to put the Democrats in Control. Therefore, since the American people, knowing full well what the Democrats would do regarding the military, the war in Iraq and Afganistan,and to everything under the sun that is good and decent chose to put them in power so it can be safely assumed that this is what America wants.

The Democrats caused a blood bath in Vietnam. They are well on their way to doing the same thing in Iraq and Afganistan.

Other Nations and people in the World that did not get the message from the Vietnam experience that it is bad to side with the United States will not miss the message this time around.

Anyone who thinks that a Democrat will be sad or sorry to see the blood of American troops or any freedom loving individual shed is only fooling themselves. Each time an American Serviceman/woman loses their lives, the Democrats rejoice.

Now the blood of a murderer, whether domestic or foreign is another matter. When a murderer gets their just rewards, as far as the Democrats are concerned, there is no joy in Mudville.

I am a conservative, but I trust Savage on military strategy and tactics as much as I trust Rush on diet and exercise, and Rosie on gun control.

PAGING SENATOR LIEBERMAN. IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO BOLT TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY

He doesn't need to bolt to the republican party. As an "independent" all he needs to do is to caucus with the republicans and the democrats would lose their majority control.

But, Lieberman is a democrat at heart and he just plays a republican when it comes to the WOT and Iraq and Israel.

Here is what I wrote:

Mr. Reid,

I am a 26 year veteran, Senior Master Sergeant in the Michigan Air National Guard. When I first enlisted in 1980, the military was still suffering from the backlash against the Vietnam War. We did not wear our uniforms in public. Certain venues near military bases were strictly off limits, due to public sentiment toward the military.

During the Reagan years, that changed dramatically. We became proud to wear our uniforms in public and felt honored and valued again for what we do for this country.

Now comes the battle in Iraq, a necessary component in the War on Terror. Battle, I said, because that is what it truly is. We have drawn out the terrorists there, to be fought and defeated far from our own shopping centers, schools, monuments and public places. In this, we need the united backing of the American people.

Do we have it? Barely. Today, you ran the white flag of surrender up the pole to see if it will fly. Have you and your comrades sounded the endless drumbeat of defeat for so long that you can no longer envision winning against this enemy? Because that is the choice. We must decide if we are going to win or lose.

How long it takes, no one can be certain. We are dealing with a patient enemy that is more than willing to wait us out. You seem equally willing to give them what they want. That is a decision to lose, to surrender, to tuck tail and run.

Oh that we could bring all the troops home and return to a normal and peacful life. That will not happen. The enemy will be encouraged, empowered to follow them here and begin a reign of terror that can only be imagined in our worst nightmares.

As a member of the military, a wife and a mother, this prospect does not comfort or please me. In my role of performing Homeland Defense, I will pick up my sword and fight them here, as I must. I will help to defend the very poeple who brought this war back to my own home, because that is what I have sworn to do.

You have done a great disservice to this country; its people, its military and its very safety and well-being.

This country owes much more to its servicemen and women and their families. Today was the ultimate slap in the face.

I thought that Tom Dashle was the lowest form of life that has ever surfaced in the Senate in my lifetime. Fat Teddy is not even measured.

Pelosi cavorts with a terror-supporting dicatator like Syria’s Assad to embarrass Bush and to feign some weirdo Liberal support for Israel and Reid does his best Michael Moore imitation in the WOT and the MSM turns a blind eye while really Americans in uniform risk their lives the front lines and the average American remains apathetic about the hyper-partisan Democrat attacks, and I wonder if we’re not near the end of our Republic.

So, Harry Reid thinks he will make the history books as the one who ‘defeated’ America...

Got news for him - he and the Defeat-o-crats are catching the Eagle’s eye... Talons ready - ..............

Dang, those founding fathers were smart... they said, right there in the 2nd Amendment that we needed to be ready... Even told us ‘well regulated’ as in utilizing standardized (regulated) equipment... Maybe, we are getting close... Federal Court even eloquently defended ‘the people’ as meaning what it says in ‘the right to bear arms’ part - much better than I could...

Unfortunately, the Democrats will NOT pay any price for losing the war. That is a fact.

They did the same surrender thing in Vietnam,and there they even had the courage to shut off funding cold. But did they pay any price? No. In fact, they won an overwhelming majority in Congress in 74 and the Presidency in 76.

It’s happening again, and with the MSM in control of the first draft of history, the Democrats will not be the villians, but the heroes.

If we are lucky, the Democrat reign post-Iraq will end before the certain-to-come war with the Chinese gets hot and we have a chance to rebuild our demoralized military.

The Democrats look like our socialists now: Cowards and traitors. I am still ashamed that Zapatero won the elections. To withdraw our troops from Iraq was one the worst acts of cowardice ever. Don’t let the Dems commit a huge error! I wish you’ll keep fighting for freedom until victory has been achieved.
