Then Rush was an idiot today. Those videos belong to the citizens of this country and we have the right to see them. Many of us are going to be affected greatly by this shooting and yet you think that we have no right to see what was going on in this guy's head?

I agree. I think NBC shjould have given it a couple days, announced that they were going to present it once and only once, in its entirety. I suspect they managed some selective editing that prevents the left from being too closely linked to this loser, and others continue to speculate about the Sudden Jihad Syndrome aspects. NBC could have removed a whole lot of speculation and questions by airing it in its entirety, and I really don't think it would have been all that flattering to Cho. I also think showing it once, in its entirety would have been as provocative as showing a few selectively edited out-takes, over and over again. Of course it would have ended up all over the net, but thats part of living in a free society.
Personally, I'm amazed at the number of people on this board who are so vehemently against this having aired. Has the American right become as intellectually inconsistent as the left? We spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday arguing that the American citizenry is mature and responsible enough that concealed carry should be the law of the land, and then we spent all day Thursday (and I'm guessing Friday) arguing that American public can't handle the showing of this video.
