Mom who killed twins gets 10 years

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. --A young mother who smothered her crying 9-month-old twin boys with a pillow and then went back to sleep was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Lakeia White, 20, pleaded guilty but mentally ill Wednesday to two counts of homicide by child abuse. She admitted putting a pillow over her sons Devion and Trevon Wilson on Oct. 11 to settle them down.

The kids have different last names from that of the “mother”, thanks to liberalism. The “mother” got only 10 years thanks to radical-fertility-hating feminazis which intimidated lawmakers and judges.

Not only did the clergy vouch for her, her husband did and so did her parents. The article said she could be out in 8 years. That is just incredible. She should be sterilized and worse.

"Mental illness" is a crock when it comes to guilt.

It's a crock plea anyway. A person has to be mental, nuts, crazy anyway to deliberately take someone's life. A mentally ill plea should be kicked out of the courtroom every time.

She was given such a pathetic sentence for another reason - the (sub?)conscious ascription of lower value to a younger life. A truly sick symptom of the depth of society's moral decline.

You betcha.

An adult who is murdered at least has some chance of either deserving it or of defending himself. A child cannot.

Child murder should be punished more, not less, severely.
