Why is anyone at all surprised by this little glimpse into the character of Johnny the Rabid, Rabid Narcissist?

Remember the oh-so-sappy Wendy’s deal? Here is Mark Steyn’s account of the touching (photo op) moment:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2004/08/03/do0302.xml

I wish I could post the photo of the two PO’d Marines, but I don’t have it.

The bill was sent to the campaign. It was inadvertently paid

I need a haircut, I will send the bill to them.

Not to overstate the case, but I think this is a pretty big blunder for Edwards ... because it reinforces the vain, "pretty boy" reputation ... and as demonstrated on this thread, throws open for ridicule his "two Americas" mantra.

Hey, my wife cuts mine for free in the kitchen.

This really is too funny. Glad to see it getting some press. He really is one of us though. Indeed, I’m off to get my $400 haircut right now after my $225 facial...

That’s the difference between Silky Pony and Hildabeast.

He gets embarrassed and gives the money back. She never gets embarrassed and never gives the money back.

NO MAN who gets their hair cut in a place called the “Pink Saphire” should ever be president. I mean, come on!

Seems like these “mistakes” happen with some degree of regularity with this guy. Doesn’t seem that long ago that he was coercing Walmart (yes Walmart) to sell him a PS3 when they were in short supply. That turned out to be a “unfortunate mistake” as well. LOL.
