I even toned down my conservativism to please the lefty professors.

Now it appears I should have simply made them afraid of me and then they would have given me a 4.0.

I think it is awful for the media to place blame on the family without any evidence and to insist that they should have realized he was dangerous. From what the roommate has said, he seemed anitsocial and weird rather than violent. Maybe I missed something, since I have not watched much of the TV coverage.

IMHO, I don't believe the statement that teachers gave him high grades because they were afraid of him. Instead, they probably considered his writings "art" and "original expression" but now are faced with having to justify their grades. If they gave him high grades because of fear, then they have no business being teachers.

Unfortunately the media is none to credible. Just look at all the spin and lies that have been reported.
