Iraq link to campus killer Cho

By Matthew Lee

April 19, 2007 12:00

THE sister of the gunman responsible for the deadliest shooting rampage in modern US history works as a contractor for a State Department office that oversees billions of dollars in American aid for Iraq.

The revelations about Sun-kyung Cho came after the siblings' grandfather said the Korean family came to the US to "raise the children properly". More on that story below.

Sun-kyung is employed by the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office, according to US officials and a State Department staff directory that says she works from an annex near the department's headquarters in Washington.

. . .

Kim, 81, who lives in Kyonggi province outside Seoul, said he has had little contact with his daughter – the mother of the shooter – after they arrived in the United States.

Cho's parents ran a used-book shop in Seoul until they left for the United States.

"They bought the tiny shop with the money my son-in-law made in Saudi Arabia before he got married," Kim said.

Bush’s fault!

Somehow Iraq is the reason for each and every thing negative.

maybe like the MANMADE-warmer conditions created a chemical imbalance in his brain that made him flip? i am sure there is at least a 50,000 word research thesis on that topic.

Clever, but morbid given what has transpired.

I just can’t believe that people have not made the connection.

This attack was set in motion by a small faction in the CIA that are left over from the first Bush’s term. They did this to keep the old media from covering the Gonzales testimony on Capital Hill.

It seems curious that allot of the bits and pieces news surrounding Cho is coming from foreign press, rather than US press.

Are the US pressers asleep or just incompetent?

Our press is “protecting” this evil little b#@$*rd so they can put most of the blame on his guns. The guns made him do it.

Our local drive-time AM talk radio guy played a clip of an ABC report from sometime yesterday or the night before (not sure which) but after a report on the political fallout from this massacre (re: gun control), the female host said something along the lines of “when we return, we’ll look at the lives these guns took...”

This is a story about how we need to confiscate all private weapons. Only info/spin pushing that point makes it into the press. That, and emotive grief that can be channeled into the political fight.

Suzy Quzy, I've heard of this but I don't know if they all do it. I think it is a part of a ritual cleansing.

I think.
