This was a planned terrorist attack plain and simple.

Every video clip of him I’ve seen was edited; I’d sure like to see the unedited version.
While that is frankly a ridiculous assertion.....this has nothing that would even remotely appear to be an attack by a Muslim terrorist cell....it is terrorism.

I will note that one of his pictures on the MSNBC site shows him almost in a praying or god-like pose.

Well, he does have something in common with al queda … they are nuts and so was he.
It was planned and he was not to fond of Christianity, but we will need to see the whole NBC “package” before we make the Islamofascist connection.

In view of the fact that he chained the doors closed from the inside to delay any attempts to rescue his victims I am waiting for the Left to demand a waiting period for chain.
He could be but no one has mentioned any definite connections yet. Also the other shoe hasn’t dropped. Seems Al Qaeda would carry out a series of these and not just one of them.
Just semantics. Call it what you want, but it is what it is... a psychopath misfit kid with an evil streak. If calling it “terrorism” makes some kind of difference to you, then go right ahead.
To me “terrorists” are connected to some organization with a political purpose. Just as “gang violence” or “mafia hit” infers some connection to a group, so does “terrorism”.
Don’t get sucked into the trap that the presence or absence of the “terror” logo in any way changes the nature or horror of the incident. It doesn’t change or minimize the effect, it’s merely noting the presence or absence of other factors. Like membership in a sponsoring organization.
Wouldn't at all surprise me if it were filled with rants about America's "illegal occupation" of Iraq, "the Zionist entity," Jews, etc. But we'll probably never find out.
