It is complicated, of course, but here is a very quick explaination:
Liberals want to be the ones who will protect you, even though the actual mechanism is through the power of big government.
If you should exhibit the audacity to try to protect yourself, then there is no need for them or their government to do it.
Another reason is because if you are able to protect yourself, and they are not, it seems "unfair" to them. How dare you have some advantage over them!
Or maybe you were just kidding about not being able to figure it out.
Meaning violent felonies, such as murder, for instance.
(q) Any murder convictions?
(perp)Did you say convictions?
(q)Convictions.
(perp)Nope, no convictions for murder.
Can someone help me out? I can’t figure out why I am having such a time posting a photo.
outstanding!
Unfortunately, he'd only be considered evil by the MSM if he were a WASP.
bttt
Exactly.
It is difficult for us to understand their world view because we simply don't think as they do.
The same is true in reverse as well. They hate us because they can't understand how we think.
Thanks knewsie :)
Thanks for that link - that is one of Ann’s all-time best essays.
Keep me on even though I don’t get to post.
I love Ann.
What you have to love is this Psycho had a prof who threatened to resign if he wasnt rmeoved from her class. The Tutor he was then assigned refered him to Psychological Services. Another class of seventy students only had seven who would attend fo rfear we was going to shoot the class up. He had police complaints from two female students for stalking them. Police picked him up on a detention order and commited him to a mental institution for evaluation.
But he doesnt get expelled.
The licensed student with a Concealed Carry Weapons permit from the State of Virgina, who carried a gun on campus for self defense (And who was the only guy who could have stopped this) is Expelled.
Liberal Logic?

PC is going to bury us.
No one is being removed. I've just asked Knews_hound to take over the list for a while. I'm overwhelmed with FRed Thompson pings and the Ann pings get lost in the mix. Knewsie usually finds the Ann Coulter threads before I do and pings me. I don't want anyone to miss Ann's cutting edge opinions and humor.
I'll write to you soon once I get caught up. :) HUGGS
We’re all overwhelmed lately...Take care..talk to you later.... :>)
What do you want a solution to? Violent crime has dropped dramatically in the last twenty years. This crime was very much an aberration. School shootings are not all that common and certainly not solely a U.S. phenomena.
Taking mental illness more seriously might help. There was a time when someone like this would have been involuntarily hospitalized. The ACLU ended that. That goes against the principle that "your rights end where my rights begin." A nutcake's right to be free in society now trumps the rights of others to be safe from violence.
You seem to lean towards more gun control but the campus was gun free. The guy didn't legally buy his guns as some are saying. Legally he was prohibited from buying a gun but that info wasn't available to the gun seller through the national database due to HIPPA privacy laws. Not that he couldn't have obtained guns illegally, on the street. Black markets make prohibited items more available not less.
Do you have any solutions? Do you have any clear idea what it is you want to solve?

The Washington Post has this article, explaining how the victim (sheeple) can choose where exactly he or she wants to cower and cringe before being executed by the shooter:

I prefer NOT to be a victim!
