ROCK HILL, S.C. Smoking just might have saved Brenda Comer's life.
She said she had just finished washing dishes Monday and stepped outside to smoke a cigarette when an 80-foot oak tree crashed through her roof, landing across the sink where she had been standing just seconds before.

Best news story of the day as far as I am concerned.
We need a Surgeon General warning labels on all oak trees immediately!
Another life saved by smoking.
Digging a little deeper...
She went outside to smoke. Why?
It is my guess that the smoking nazis made her feel guilty for smoking indoors. She, like me, probably was forced outdoors to smoke. She then, like me, learned to enjoy smoking outdoors.
Smoking saved her life and the smoking nazis helped.
Maybe. Although I stopped smoking in my house before the Wehrmacht Nannies goose-stepped in. I don’t like stale smoke and it was turning my walls brown.
The family’s insurance agent said they could not live there after the tree cut the kitchen and living room in half, scattering the contents of the kitchen cabinets.
“I looked down and saw a bottle with two pills,” Comer said. “I thought, ‘Well, I have a headache, and there’s two Excedrin.”’
ROTFLMAO!
The Lord works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.
