Kennedy came over.

And Sandra Day wasn't there, either.

Kennedy apparently was upset over being misled by the majority when he voted with them in Casey years ago.

Unfortunately, it will take a lot more than this one instance to convince me that Kennedy has changed. Important to note that this decision outlaws a procedure, and not the overall “right” to have an abortion.

Still, another chip in the armor.

The opinion on this one will be interesting. Did Kennedy write for the majority?

I have hoped ever since seeing Kennedy's outrage in Stenberg back in 2000 that he would never trust the left again on this issue. His decision today comes as no real surprise to me. I am just hoping that there is "more where that came from" for lack of a better phrase.

We must constantly pray for Kennedy and for at least one more liberal retirement. The lives of millions are at stake.

The good news here is that we now have some abortion jurisprudence that is undercutting Roe and Planned Parenthood.

“Kennedy apparently was upset over being misled by the majority when he voted with them in Casey years ago.”

and how does an alleged educated, successful Supreme Court justice find himself in the situation where he allows himself to be “misled”?

Thank the Lord for that. But before we take that for granted, remember that Bush the Elder's biggest mistake is still on that court....David Souter has proven himself to be a dyed in the wool leftist. You can always trust him to fight any non-leftist position.

“Kennedy apparently was upset over being misled by the majority when he voted with them in Casey years ago.” What do you mean by this? (Not challenging you; I really don’t know the answer.)
