I think he cracked. When he did the first two shootings (his girlfriend and the advisor) I think he just went mad and went off.
He began “off”. There was too much planning involved for him to have just “gone off” *after* he executed the young woman & the advisor. People who kill uninterested love interests are off in the first place. Those they kill don’t make them kill.
Before or after filing the serial numbers off of the pistols?
Something is awry here, methinks.
The kid was nuts before he killed the first two. It was all planned way ahead. The guy was under the care of a mental health professional and taking anti-depressants. He had set a fire in the dorm and was accused of stalking some of the females on campus. His writing prof also reported that his writings were disturbing and recommended his to counciling.
She won’t release the topic of the writings, but my guess is that they were essays that were in sympathy with the terrorists. I think that is the meaning of Ismail’s Ax on his arm. I think he was saying that his arm was acting as the ax of Ismail.
He didn’t have a girlfriend. He was stalking her. This incident appears to have been planned for several weeks, with bomb threats to the affected building (to test response), buying the extra gun, shooting the two in the dorm thereby creating a diversion for the main goal: someone or something at Norris Hall.
He had no girlfriend but imaginary ones.
