“The note included a rambling list of grievances and ended with the words “Ismail Ax” in red ink on the inside of one of his arms.”

Sooo...is it in the note or on his arm? Who writes this crap?

(or am I just having reading comprehension issues?)

No, it's not just you.

The comment is meaningless gibberish.

I was thinking the same thing. Here's what the original article says...

The note included a rambling list of grievances, according to sources. They said Cho also died with the words "Ismail Ax" in red ink on the inside of one of his arms.

So I guess it was on his arm, not in the note.

I had the same thought. It's very badly written.

I had the same thought. Just not clear! Wonder if the words signed on the note were like those that are also on his arm.

My best estimate is that current English and Journalism majors have less ability to communicate than the aveage sixth grader of forty or fifty years ago.
