Phelps & his coo coo crew have nothing to do with religion. The “church” is a home. All the “members” are related. He’s a democrat, a disbarred lawyer & was a very good friend of algore. They do this stuff for money. They incite so they can sue. Filing lawsuits can be profitable apparently.

WOW... That is the first time I've ever seen their website.
I thought he and his band were just idiots. They passed being idiots a LONG time ago. These guys are dangerous.
If I read this right from their site, he is saying that this happened because :"It's simple. Your military chose to shoot at the servants of God today
Does he support Islam?
Is he saying that the terrorists we are fighting are the servants of God?

Hum... Giving aid and comfort to the enemy...Sounds like treason to me.

(still stunned) - this bunch is truly dangerous.

That is no detour
Phelps is to Baptist as an F-18 is to a milkshake.
No association whatsoever.

Muslims to prove themselves by cleansing their own ranks.
You do make a point, problem is he is NOT one of our ranks.
If I, as a Christian, claimed to be an Atheist and started preaching that Atheism taught that God created us all, etc. You could not cleanse me from your ranks because I would not be IN your ranks. I would be claiming one thing by name, but teaching another.
The book that Islam calls Holy proclaims what the terrorist are teaching. The Bible does not proclaim what this idiot is teaching.
Just because I live in a garage doesn't make me a Chevy.

Cordially,
GE

So, if he called himself a Republican instead of a Baptist, you’d hate Republicans?

If he called himself a Republican would you consider him one?

Phelps transcends politics and religion. Regardless of what he calls himself in the end he's scum.

Well, you seem to consider him a Baptist, or at least religious, because he calls himself a Baptist. You see the illogical nature of the statement when it applies to self-styled Republicans, but not when it applies to self styled Baptists, or so your defense of Zarf would suggst.

Since Zarf didn't bother to defend his comment, but you did, I'll ask - Are you and Zarf the same person?

Well, he is the head of the Westboro Baptist Church. And he certainly claims to be religious. His ties to Gore are established, as is his later denunciation of the Democrats. In fact, Phelps picketed Gore's father's funeral.

Since Zarf didn't bother to defend his comment, but you did, I'll ask - Are you and Zarf the same person?

No. Maybe he/she isn't as patient as I am?
