My congratulations - such a short post yet it contains so much illogic....please tell me I missed the /sarcasm/ tag.
assets and rights are two completely different items. Confusion over the two is the result of a socialist mind set. Next thing you know, someone is arguing that the looters should just be allowed “to touch dose tings”

The confusion is due to the unrelenting Marxist’s indoctrination that our nation’s children have been exposed to from pre-K through graduate school.
Yeah, you’re right, I should have separated them.
And I should’ve been talking INCOME when taxes are mentioned.
But the point is, we need SOME taxes to run this big machine - how much is up for debate. And yes, there’s also a lot of lazy spongers around who contribute little/nothing back to society while taking lots from it, and that’s frustrating.
In the end, if you really find the tax burden in North America that onerous (and hey - I live in Canada, so YOU got it relatively easy!!), you can always move.
