I wonder the same thing, they won’t even mention race of this disturbed person either. Especially as in an up-roar as this country has been over race and culture since Imus incident.

Brian Williams of NBC asked one of the EMTs a typical dumb-arse Williams type question. “And i suppose you and your team have never imagined having to deal with this type of situation...”
The EMT corrected him without calling him a dumb-arse that they routinely train for these exact scenerios.
They did, he was Asian. Now they haven’t mentioned ethnicity yet or cultural background, but then again he was ID’less and blew his face away.
