The party is either pro life and liberty or it’s not. If the answer is not, it’s going to be a whole lot smaller. And weaker. And permanently out of power.

Republicans are making it increasingly clear they will not endorse Conservative core principles. The Republican party is shifting more towards socialism as time passes and there by aligning itself with the socialist Democrats, essentially creating a one party system. Conservatives only logical recourse is distinguish themselves from the socialists by forming their own party to restore the two party system.
