Dear Kayak,
Seen you online many years.
Read a lot of your posts..
Know that when it happens you will be with your family and God.
Waiting for us all to see face to face for the 1 st time.
May god bless you and keep you.
She probably would!
Humble Prayers up for all of you in this tender time... Know the Lord in all his mercy is standing with you and waiting to take her home. This is the path we all must take at some point, and it appears Kayak is ready for the journey, in peace, with God..
May God Bless this Fine Lady
Thank you Billie....that is a wonderful post & very fitting to share at this time.
Kayak always reminded me to pray - she called me to pray so many times. And now, dear Kay, so many are praying for you...at these moments when you move into the next life - where they say is real LIFE with your precious Savior.
You will soon see the radiant loving face of the Lord Jesus.
What a joy that will be!
What sorrow there is now for losing you in this life - for your dear family. For all of us who will so miss you.
Thanks for sharing your life, your loves, your hope in Jesus Christ, your passion for freedom and righteousness, and your graciousness through this online gathering place.
God be in your dying....and I know He is right there with you and with your beloveds.
I recently went through this with my mom.
My prayers for you and your family.
Prayers for peace and courage.
Prayers up for Kayak and her family.
At any rate, thank you, daisy; you always had a great way of telling a Freeper's story, and times like this I'm especially glad I kept all our threads archived.
You’re always gracious and kind, Billie.
Thank you, too, daisyscarlett. Your tribute to Kay is beautiful beyond words, just like Kay herself.

Good work Billie...you know I’ve always been a fan.
The 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’ sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Here it is, one more time...thanks Kay:
"When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didnt like it.""Compromise was a dirty word to them and they wouldnt face the fact that we couldnt get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you dont get it all, some said, dont take anything."
"Id learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: "I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average." "If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and thats what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it." ~~ Ronald Reagan, in his autobiography, An American Life
I hope you told her that, Luis, but even if you didn;t, she’’ll know it soon. I’m sure her daughter, FReeper poppyseed, will appreciate youur post.
I’ll remember this Luis -— I love that quote too. If I put an upside down “red” triangle on my page will you visit it? :0)
(((Prayers for Kay and her family))).
You’re a good, good man, (((Luis))) and I treasure your friendship.
