I wonder what Keith Ellison will have to say about this??
And he WILL have something to say.

"Airport officials say more than 70 percent of the cabbies at the airport are Muslim..." Say no more. That is about 69% more than I am comfortable with...rent a car instead, but check the undercarriage first for explosives.

I going to view this as a positive step in the process of ending this ridiculous discrimination which has been done by these Muslim drivers. They serve ALL of the public and its about damn time they realized that.
What is the status of these Muslim cabbies transporting blind people with seeing-eye dogs?

They don't like alcohol in the car. They don't like dogs in the car. I'm thinking of getting one of these to ride in the back seat with me.
My pig can sit in the front.

I wonder what Keith Ellison will have to say about this?? He is stupid enough to actually say something after getting elected by being moot.
The operator of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Monday approved tougher penalties for cabdrivers who refuse service to travelers carrying alcohol, as some Muslim drivers have done for religious reasons.
The state should have maintained it's standards when giving them a license to drive!

I don't drink but when I travel I carry. I bet there is a market for lapel pin or bracelet charm sized containers of adult beverages.

On Monday, cab driver Abdinoor Dolal called the penalties punitive ... Well...duh!
Someone forgot to send Mr. Dolal the memo. LOL!

I refuse to tip Muslim drivers because it is against my religion. I’m sure they’ll understand ...
Maybe they’ll take a bottle of Jack in lieu of a tip?
To: ButThreeLeftsDo
Wow! I was under the impression the airport was run by libs. Guess I’ll need to reconsider. The commissioners took hammer and tong to the muzzies. Good for them and especially the passengers.

Frankly, I think the external marking light was probably the best solution. Why should they be made to carry particular fares? The ONLY thing mitigating that is that it isn’t an overall ban they are being faced with, but the privilege to pick up people at the airport, and may be forcing others who are willing out of the queue.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission voted to suspend a driver's airport taxi license for 30 days for the first offense and revoke it for two years for a second offense. The new penalties take effect May 11.Well, that's a reasonably forthright response. But I still kinda like my 'kinder, gentler' solution. Only allow these Muslim cabbies who don't want to transport certain passengers based on religious reasons the use of a a cab stand with a far less desirable location.
