Could be a muslim (which would be no surprise) but I'd find it hard to believe that the eyewitness student thought to measure his words to 'avoid a fatwa'. Besides, it's the Brits who call them all Asian.
If he’s asian he could well be muslim. Muslim countries like Indonesia or the Philippines where there is a large muslim jihadist population.
I’d take that bet. There is a likelihood those betting it was one of “those Muslims” every time some tragedy occurs may actually get it right one of these times. But you will be wrong more times than right. There are a lot of bad things that happen in the world that are not caused by Muslims.
