Shootings on campus; classes canceled; gunman deceased

Counseling is available in the Bowman Room in the Merriman Center (part of the athletic complex) for employees who seek assistance following today’s events.
Faculty and staff on the Burruss Hall side of the Drillfield are asked to go home effective immediately. Faculty and staff on the War Memorial Hall side of the Drillfield are asked to leave at 12:30 p.m.
Virginia Tech has closed today and classes are canceled. Classes also are canceled Tuesday, but the university will remain open for administrative operations.
Now tied to girlfriend. Guy was supposedly hunting for girlfriend. Lined up students and shot them.
Orlanda Selenas has a niece at V-tech. Says that the shooter shot the Resident Assistant in the dorm.
