I've never been able to understand just who is interested in watching this sort of stuff - what purpose is it serving, really?

Donning flame resistant suit but is it women that can't take their eyes off it? I'm genuinely curious - just because it seems the Lifetime Channel and whatnot is so devoted to portraying human suffering.

Expecting Geraldo to do anything other than misrepresent facts and exploit people is a lot like panning for gold in your own shower - either way, you’ll end up disappointed.

Thought about it for a bit, and it’s the ghoulish equivelent of the locker-room postgame sports interview.

They are all universally uninteresting, nothing but repeated cliches, mean nothing, provide no useful information, and really nobody in the audience has any interest in them either...but they fill Sportscenters, etc.

Simply because the media has the OPPORTUNITY and the unique ACCESS they feel it HAS to be used and there’s something important about doing it.

It reminded me of Shepherd Smith when he was interviewing the family of an Israeli soldier who had been kidnapped before the war last summer. Smith kept hammering away at them, asking them questions as if he wanted them to just break down in tears. It was so disgusting and left such a bad taste in my mouth that I rarely watch Faux after that.

The South Park where Cartman did horrible things to a kid and then licked up the kid's tears as he was crying, saying how sweet they tasted - that reminds me of Shepherd Smith (Captain Mascara) and Whorealdo completely.
