I thought WA CeaseFire
was a gun control group? Did these guys at this website steal the domain name of a gun control group?
I love subversive actions!

From their website:
WashingtonCeaseFire.com is an advocacy organization dedicated to promoting responsible gun ownership in Washington State through education and training. Over 240,000 individuals are licensed in Washington to legally carry concealed pistols for protection from violent criminals. Our top legislative priority in 2007 is to halt legislation that impairs the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves against violent criminals.
My kind of gun control.

Maybe they’ve taken a page from the playbook of “People for the American way” or one of the other countless liberal groups that name themselves for the opposite of what their agenda is.

I figured it out. Washingtonceasefire.org is a gun control organization.

The theft that bothers me the most is “The Human Rights Campaign” which does not believe that human rights should extend to Christians or heterosexual humans. This is the kind of gall that drives these agendas.

They had a video on recycling that was great. They've had a lot of great shows, but they do a lot of bashing of "sacred cows." There are a lot of conservatives who've gotten upset at them for their views, just as with liberals.
But this sounds like a great show, like the shows they did on PETA and Walmart (2 different shows)

I sort of have a problem because I'm too close to this issue, and virtually everyone I know has either already changed their minds or has stopped disagreeing with me to my face. For those of you in Texas or the southeast, that probably seems as natural as water going downhill, but in NJ where I live or NYC where I work, that's really saying something.
It's gotten to the point in fact, where everyone I know either supports the second amendment or at the very least has abandoned the idea of gun control as a solution to the crime problem. I readily admit that this may be a product of how insulated my life is.
These days, people at my office draw lots over who can come out to my gun club with me to try Skeet shooting or an AK47. Even the women in my office all rearrange their schedule to get a chance to try shooting. Either we're winning this argument, or I'm working in the only all conservative firm in the entire NYC area.
Lately, it seems to me that the only people still interested in gun control are politicians. And as they say in the video, those are the last people you want to be deciding an issue like this.
