I sort of have a problem because I'm too close to this issue, and virtually everyone I know has either already changed their minds or has stopped disagreeing with me to my face. For those of you in Texas or the southeast, that probably seems as natural as water going downhill, but in NJ where I live or NYC where I work, that's really saying something.

It's gotten to the point in fact, where everyone I know either supports the second amendment or at the very least has abandoned the idea of gun control as a solution to the crime problem. I readily admit that this may be a product of how insulated my life is.

These days, people at my office draw lots over who can come out to my gun club with me to try Skeet shooting or an AK47. Even the women in my office all rearrange their schedule to get a chance to try shooting. Either we're winning this argument, or I'm working in the only all conservative firm in the entire NYC area.

Lately, it seems to me that the only people still interested in gun control are politicians. And as they say in the video, those are the last people you want to be deciding an issue like this.

I live and work in NJ, at a large firm. I’m the only firm conservative in the my group, and maybe in the building. The only other NRA member I’m aware of took a package a few years back. Maybe Monmouth county is too safe to have very many mugged liberals.

So where’s this gun club?
