If he was a full blown card carying leftist like Boxer then his “inconsistancies” wouldn’t befuddle activists one bit...after all,.. Boxers inconsistancies certainly don’t, they are overlooked and ignored !

What has Boxer been "inconsistent" about, praytell??? Can you list even two things???

She sure seems to be consistently full-of-it, to me!!!

I think Arnie’s environmentalism is also inspired by this:

KissyKat And The Magic Diesel
Daniel Fisher 02.26.07

When the cry goes up, “Renewable Energy!” an army of penny-stock operators swings into action.

The big picture: Everyone is in love with renewable energy—George Bush, any congressman you could name, the eminent venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, Goldman Sachs. At the upper end of the investment spectrum the field has attracted $53 billion in private capital over the last three years for windmills, solar panels and low-carbon energy sources. At the lower end there are the penny stocks.

Watch your wallet.

I watched Arnie on Hannity today and heard Arnie use the word “conserve.”

What a joke! Arnie and the Kennedy’s don’t know the meaning of conservation. It’s the ole “conserve is for thee, not for me” syndrome.

Love him or hate him, you have to respect Ed Begley, Jr. for walking the talk. Arnie is a poser, in every way.

Oh goody! I'm sure happy you posted this!!!

About a month ago I got this "Pump & Dump" penny stock brochure advertisement in the snail mail pushing PLRO from HubbertMarketDigest.com. The whole pitch was that they had discovered something to remove the harmful emmissions from motor oil and that the government was just about ready to drive every other engine oil mfg. company out of the business!!!

What really caught my eye was a picture of a CNN news item quoting Arnold Schwartzenegger and talking about his newly signed law to force the reduction of climate changing emmissions!

Then they proceeded to try to support their proposition by showing the fast growth of the following "green minded equities: Evergreen Solar(ESLR); Cheniere Energy(LNG/AMEX); Whole Foods Market(WFMI); Green Mtn. Coffee(GMCR) and Energy Conversion(ENER).

So now you can go to BigCharts.com and see how these babies have done over the last year or so. PLRO as already dropped from around $2.50 when I got the mailer to right around a dollar at this time.

This really bares out what you are saying with your post!!!

They wanna fool ya, so they can rule ya. They also wanna pump ya (full of delirous dreams) so they can dump ya (on the ash-heap of hard realities)!!! They oughta be in prison in my book!!!

Sounds more like "Renewable Cash-Flow!"

I may grudgingly try to respect his honesty, but I'll still think he's a danged fool for engaging in all that fruitless foolishness that isn't doing anything but making him FEEL like he's redeeming himself from some stupid perceived GUILT!!!

I still think that's disgusting and not deserving of much in the way of respect. Sorry... I'm just not having ANY of it!!!

Haven’t you heard? GovernMental folks refer to it as a “Revenue Stream!” (no dam diversions allowed, neither!)

"Dare anyone say it?"

Sure, but it will do absolutely no good until he is generally perceived as comically off his nut like Davis was, then the time is right! Not until!!! Failure is NOT an option!!!

Watchout for that popcorn, tubeman! We wouldn’t want to have to have to call ol Steroid Schwartzenegger to run up there and give you the Heimlick maneuver now would we? (grin) He’d do it just to git yer vote when he runs against the dubious CA Senator from Marin County, don’tcha know?

Just what I need is the Chancellor of Austria running for the Senate. He and Lady Di Fi would make a swell couple...

LOL. How’s the show?

Seriously, I find it hard to believe that these politicians aren’t making some money on the side from these P&D schemes. I found one a year or more ago where Arnie was touting some solar chip while visiting China, within days of the company having an IPO. The value of the stock soared from just a few articles and the selling stockholders made millions extra.
See posts 7 and 14: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1522422/posts

And of course, ya can’t forget that the investment company that Arnie is part owner of... ta da!... specializes in microcap index funds. Sorry, SW... I don’t buy the honesty thing.

Normsrevenge posted an article yesterday about Rudy’s pump-and-dump pennty-stock clients. The global warming biz will be the new dot-com bubble.

Didn't early investors in the wind farm over the Altamont Pass get creamed with a bunch of defective wind mills...

I don’t remember that one, but I do remember about windmills being among the many investment scams.

I remember driving east bound over the pass several years and half the mills were idle. I read later on they were waiting for replacement parts. Investors weren’t making a dime (except for tax credits) while they are down...

The governor this week framed the environmental problem as one that can be solved by technology rather than changes in lifestyle.

...and they HATE him for that approach.

Enron had collected a bunch of windfarms and played some shenanigans with the ownership (on paper).
I don’t know where those were located.

Shell is working on the first wind farm here in Humboldt County. They will be on the Russ Ranches from Cape Mendocino east a few miles toward Rio Dell.

Tubes Prediction... It will takes years to get the permits and then the lawsuits kick in...
