I’m not. Now snakes, yes, but spiders are always hanging around our bathrooms or bedrooms. They’ve never been scary.

I remember hearing something in the antique shop I had in my house years ago. I went downstairs to find a bat banging agains the window. I ran upstairs and it followed me, and when I shut the door, it kept banging against the door. Brrr. Another time I got one with a broom. They used to hang upside down on the outside of our old house at night.
HAHAHA! My son-in-law is a wonderful young man; but he cannot do spiders.
I think all of that fear stuff began with how those around them treated stuff like spiders, lightening, etc.
I have great parents. :-)
I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t have a dad at home. That’s very difficult for children. But you have a Heavenly Father who loves you and cares for you, as I’m sure you already know. Ask Him to bring the right one to you and to give you the courage to pursue a relationship. Love, Mxxx

Fear of snakes is reasonable and rational. Some are poisonous and large enough to kill you. There is something odd about people who like them, especially the poisonous varieties.

A great flaw in all of humanity is that people (in this case feminists) will often project anger away from themselves when it is better directed AT themselves.
If a dog, or a fox, or a coon, or a squirrel bites you, you know it and can get treatment. Bats? who knows if you will realize it.
I know naturalists tell us what warm, fuzzy animals they are, but I don’t care. Just keep them away from me, and we can both live in peace, ‘cause I won’t go hunting them.
