Yeah, he went on and on about how great the military was in Vietnam and World War II making us a superpower and wondered why we haven’t won in Iraq after 4 years. I kept screaming at the tv, it is because we are conducting a PC war, so afraid to lose soldiers and let them do their job.

Brilliant observation, it’s also why I still stand by my original prediction that Hillary can’t lose the rat nomination and that Oblama will be her running mate(fool tool). When you have complete or near complete control of the msm you have awesome power.(that declines a little every year as we ascend)

Hard hitting question opening up with Al Sharpton

the eye doctor’s visit got canceled while we were driving down to his office in Mississippi, about a half hour south of Memphis. The main purpose yesterday was to start trying to see if they can fit a contact lens and if it can be made to give me usable vision (they don’t think so). To do that they need to have a set of trial lenses in all of these odd extreme shapes to use as tests. We called and those lenses hadn’t come in, plus the computer topography machine is also down, and that’s the other thing they would have done if we showed up. We canceled and they’ll reschedule when they get the piecy parts.

Ironically 10% of the lenses in that test kit were invented and first tried on my eye back 25 years ago when they were first trying to fit a lens to me and the complex compound shapes have become part of the normal toolkit they now use. Ah, the joys of being a pioneer!

The thing that’s really bugging me right now is that the vision I do have with my left eye is beginning to fail me. I think it’s mostly exhaustion from a very hectic week, but it’s really, really bugging me. We’ll reschedule the visit with my doctor when they get the test lenses and see what’s going on.

My wife was driving me down there and we went out and spent the day together, instead. That was nice since, besides my being away all this week on business, she and I have been working opposite schedules and really haven’t spent any time together in weeks. It was a worthwhile day.

I’m not so sure, I still see it as more than a coincidence that Begala is on the I-man’s show, where hillary is not treated like a queen but rather a witch, and than a few weeks later it all hits the fan.....There are no coincidences in my world.

Sharpton responds by saying that Bush had Puff Daddy to the White House.

Second or third time this has come up,this really shows character. Thompson may well be perceived as RR II.

He has some baggage that can be brought up in addition to being a little too close to McCain, but nothing that could rule him out for most Conservatives IMHO.I guess time will tell.
