I renewed my hunting license last week. The new 28" stainless steel ProHunter 30-06 barrel is mounted on the T/C Encore. The scope is sighted-in. One fat hole in the target at 100 yards with 10 rds. Just waiting for wolf tags to be issued. I'm looking for a good taxidermist too.
The weather is improving. There may be some opportunities to visit some prairie dog towns as well. It's varmint season.
