NEW YORK - Americans worried about climate change gathered Saturday on ski slopes and in cities for a nationwide day of demonstrations aimed at drawing attention to global warming.
More than 1,300 events were organized in every state under the banner Step It Up 2007 to push Congress to require an 80 percent cut in carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.
When it comes to global warming, I dont exactly think President Bush is doing such a hot job, said 12-year-old New Yorker Tiffany Cordero. A lot of people are thinking just of now. But we wont have a now if we dont focus on the future.

Not a recipe for a strong, creative, and free nation.

Epidemic mass hysteria, or America hatred. There is no third possibility.

Thats unfair to rain dancers, their costumes were/are beautiful and elaborate and so was/is the dance. Unlike the costumes and parading of the far left global warming daffers. YEESH!

If that doesn’t strike folks as totally insane on its own, what can any of us add that would persuade them?

Global Warming March = 21st Centuries equivalent of a rain dance. The only difference is, that there is more empirical evidence for the science of a rain dance.

“But we wont have a now”
if the Earth’s mean temperature goes either up or down one iota. Earth was designed to have a temperature, my science teacher and Algor know what the temperature is, and they both say we’ll all die if it changes!
Very reminiscent of the late 1800’s, when people were coming to grip with fossils and what they meant in terms of Earth’s timeline. Many thought that the Earth just didn’t, couldn’t change that much.
And 12,000 years ago, sea level was 400 feet lower, Long Island Sound was a valley, and there may have been Indians living in what’s now the Gulf Of Mexico.
But there can be NO CHANGE now!

You can’t say God doesn’t have a sense of humor. I seems the more I hear of global warming, the more I hear of these record cold snaps.

I wonder what SHE would say if someone asked HER to give up her cell-phone, Ipod, laptop(or palmtop), playstation, trips to the mall and other needless things and such?? After all—EVERYONE has to “do their part”.....

Earlier this year we had two instances of “Blue Ice”(aircraft toilet water) falling from descending planes. It happens when the water from the lavatory seeps out and freezes, at altitude. We know that air temperatures decreases by three degrees for every one-thousand feet of altitude, a fact used by pilots all over the world. The air is mighty cold at 41-thiousand feet...so the leaking water freezes and Blue Ice forms. When you descend the air warms and the ice falls off. Simple. Yet ABC CH 6 in Philadelphia ended their story with “......believes it is a result of Global Warming”. DUH

The 1st of March 2007, the National Weather service said that Texas would have a drier than normal spring - since then we have had enough rain to add over 10 feet of water to our drought stricken lakes. If they can’t figure out two months from now how can they get 20 years from now right?

Yuk, yuk.
So I can make lots of money off of these fools by buying solar energy companies, electric utilities, refineries, and oil companies with proven reserves in non-US jurisdictions.
