Exactly. A lot of people throw the word “Treason” around to mean any position they disagree with. It is either giving intelligence to the enemy or physical attacks on the military or infrastructure. The founding fathers were well aware of the tendency of governments to try to classify as ‘treason’ anything with which they disagreed. Alger Hiss was Treason, Code Pink is some silly looking ugly women making fools of themselves.

It is the right of our fellow citizens to be against, and express their opinions against, this or any other war.

I detest the mindset that sees any disagreement as ‘treason’ or ‘moonbattery’ and resorts to shouting and name calling. I have no respect for those who use stupid demeaning forms of their opponents’ names, either.

Pelosi's actions may not be classified as "treason", but from what I've read, they sure could be classified as a "felony".

Here's an excerpt from a WSJ article.

"The Logan Act makes it a felony and provides for a prison sentence of up to three years for any American, "without authority of the United States," to communicate with a foreign government in an effort to influence that government's behavior on any "disputes or controversies with the United States." Some background on this statute helps to understand why Ms. Pelosi may be in serious trouble."

Do you know if the Logan Act has been challenged in the SCOTUS? Don’t have ability to check it here from work (Break’s over) but sure seems unconstitutional to me. And if they’ve never charged Jimmy Carter with it they will surely never charge Pelosi.
