I’m calling for Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the president and vice president of Black America, to step down.Their leadership is stale. Their ideas are outdated. And they don’t give a damn about us.
We need to take a cue from White America and re-elect our leadership every four years. White folks realize that power corrupts. That’s why they placed term limits on the presidency. They know if you leave a man in power too long he quits looking out for the interest of his constituency and starts looking out for his own best interest.
We’ve turned Jesse and Al into Supreme Court justices. They get to speak for us for a lifetime.
Why?
If judged by the results they’ve produced the last 20 years, you’d have to regard their administration as a total failure. Seriously, compared to Martin and Malcolm and the freedoms and progress their leadership produced, Jesse and Al are an embarrassment.
Their job the last two decades was to show black people how to take advantage of the opportunities Martin and Malcolm won.
Have we at the level we should have? No.
Rather than inspire us to seize hard-earned opportunities, Jesse and Al have specialized in blackmailing white folks for profit and attention. They were at it again last week, helping to turn radio shock jock Don Imus’ stupidity into a world-wide crisis that reached its crescendo Tuesday afternoon when Rutgers women’s basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer led a massive pity party/recruiting rally.

I have never been a racist, not that I know of, except for the contempt I hold for those that are racist against me.
I will likely never understand the way that many Blacks look at things in today’s world, but how could I ? I’m a white guy and my ancestors did in fact own slaves. However, some of my ancestors also died fighting to free the slaves.
Yep...the Blacks defiantly need to dump Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They may win a fight here and there, but they sure make you folks look bad and every time they open their mouths, they take race relations back another decade.
Perhaps the author meant that white men set up our system that elects a President every four years with term limitations. That is the way I took it, anyway.
I have long believed that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton keep things stirred-up and conflicted, not to bring justice to blacks, but to keep themselves relevant. If they spent a bunch of time guiding the black (ghetto) culture into mainstream America, they would not have anything with which to shake-down whitey. Jackson and Sharpton need to be revealed as the race dividers that they are, and this young man's article go a long way in that direction.
Believe me I am no fan of Al Sharpton but I believe the man blaming the jogger’s boyfriend for her rape was Bill Tatum, the publisher of the Amsterdam News...he alone printed her name in his paper...I never remember anyone calling her a ‘whore’...also NOW never stood up for her...the white liberal/ black agitator alliance was in full swing...she never even saw who attacked her as her head was partially crushed but the agitators attacked her nonetheless to protect their youths...the allusion to her promiscuous nature came out when multiple traces of semen showed up in her and on her clothing so the boyfriend angle couldn’t hold...the ex-wife of Curtis Sliwa (Lisa) held daily rallies outside the courthouse but no establishment feminist group stood up for her...bad times.
I truly don’t remember and was quoting that about Sharpton out of the newspaper which I linked.
I do remember Sharpton blaming the boyfriend even though the black perps had already confessed.

Sharpton and Jackson got a little something they didn’t expect this week — their numeous anti-Semitic/white statements, scams/shakedowns/hoaxes and general hypocrisy have been discussed perhaps more than they’ve ever been.
